Microgels summer school
Some members of the MIMIC group are going to the second Summer school on Functional Microgels and Microgel Systems, jointly organized by the SFB 985 Functional Microgels and Microgel Systems at RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA). Visit here the website of the school.
New members of the group
The MIMIC group welcomes two new members:
- Fabrizio Camerin joined the group as a PhD student. He will work on microgels at the interface.
- Andrea Ninarello joined the group as a post-doc. He will work on hollow and ultrasoft microgels.
New publication on J. Phys.: Condens. Matter
A paper on the characterisation of the structure and swelling behaviour of our realistic microgel has appeared on the Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter in the Special Issue dedicated to the Liquid Matter Conference 2017.
New publication on Macromolecules
Our first paper about the generation of a realistic microgel on a computer has been published in Macromolecules and has been picked as the ACS Editors’ Choice for October 18!
